Brooke M. Tudor, Au.D., Owner
Dr. Tudor, the owner of Hearing Health Center, earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Audiology and Speech Sciences from Michigan State University and her Doctorate in Audiology from Central Michigan University. She completed a fellowship in the Department of Otolaryngology and Audiology at Henry Ford Hospital, including a rotation on the Cochlear Implant Team at the University of Michigan Medical Center. Dr. Tudor subsequently served as an adjunct professor of pediatric audiology at Central Michigan University. Subsequently, Dr. Tudor practiced audiology for several years at the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center in Saginaw, Michigan before acquiring Hearing Health Center in 2013. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and serves on the board of the Michigan Academy of Audiology. A native of Michigan and a proud Spartan, Dr. Tudor, her husband and their three young children, reside in East Lansing.
Kathy Scieszka, Au.D.
Dr. Scieszka earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Audiology and Speech Sciences from Michigan State University and her Doctorate in Audiology from Salus University. She developed cochlear implant programs for the VA in Durham, NC, and Central Michigan University. She has gained experience and skills working in a variety of settings, including private audiology clinics and university and hospital settings, providing diagnostics and treatment for those with hearing loss. Kathy has lived in Lansing most of her life, and is proud to call it home.
Laura Messing, Au. D.
Dr. Messing received her Bachelor of Science in communication disorders from Central Michigan University and recently received her Doctorate in audiology from Wayne State University. While at WSU, Dr. Messing gained clinical experience in a variety of settings, including a private practice, Henry Ford Hospital, and Children’s Hospital of Michigan.
Dr. Messing grew up in a small town in the thumb of Michigan, helping her parents and grandparents on their family farm. She is excited to now call the Lansing area her home.

Physician Outreach Coordinator
Caitlin earned her Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Human and Public Health from Michigan State University in 2011. She enjoys working with newborns and their families while administering newborn hearing screenings. She also looks forward to building relationships with physicians and their teams in the mid-Michigan community through continuing audiologic education. Living in East Lansing, Caitlin enjoys gymnastics, golf, Spartan sporting events, traveling and volunteering for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation with her three sisters.
Karen Baum, Patient Care Coordinator
Karen Baum joined the Hearing Health Center in 2010. She has over 30 years of customer service experience in various fields. She enjoys interacting with the patients and wants every patient to feel like they are part of the Hearing Health Center family. Karen graduated from Michigan State University and is a huge Spartan fan. She enjoys watching sports, reading, crocheting and spending time with her family.
