Front Office Staff/Patient Care Coordinator 

Hearing Health Center, an Audiology practice in beautiful Lansing, MI is in search of a Front Office Staff/Patient Care Coordinator. This is a full-time opportunity which offers a competitive hourly wage, a professional atmosphere, and opportunities for growth.

The successful candidate will be a kind, friendly, enthusiastic, and compassionate individual, eager to join our patient-centered and community-oriented practice, providing excellent support and contributing to the success of the team!

Responsibilities include:

  • Warmly greeting patients and other visitors
  • Answering phones in a prompt and courteous manner
  • Outbound calling to current and prospective patients
  • Entering and updating all patient information including intake and insurance forms
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Receiving funds and processing payments
  • Maintaining excellent working relationships with patients, vendors, colleagues, etc.

 

Qualifications:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills, including intermediate level of computer literacy. Eye for accuracy and details. A welcoming customer service orientation.
  • Professional level listening and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong ability to prioritize, multi-task and stay organized.
  • Must have consistent, punctual, and reliable attendance.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare or office setting.
  • Minimum high school diploma.

AUDIOLOGIST OPPORTUNITY!

  • 3 locations in Lansing, Mason, and St. Johns, Michigan
  • 2 doctors of Audiology and 2 support staff
  • Adult and pediatric hearing evaluations
  • Tinnitus treatment
  • Cochlear Implants
  • Hearing aid recommendations and fittings verified with REM
  • Hearing aid repairs, checks and cleanings
  • Aural rehabilitation
  • Cerumen management
  • Custom hearing protection

Qualifications:

  • D. preferred, will consider a Master’s Degree in Audiology
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • The ability to prioritize and handle a high volume of patients
  • The ability to work and contribute to a team environment
  • The ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude
  • Strong compassion, care, and respect for patients
